Welcome to Rye Grays Baseball

   The Fall Registration is now open
  

Our goal is to provide a competitive baseball program and valuable instruction with a club team atmosphere.

 



2014 Fall Program Highlights
 
  • Coaches include: Richie Benes and his coaching staff
 
  • Season starts the first week of September and runs through the first week of November
 
  • Games played on weekends only (Double Headers)
 
  • Ages 12 thru 18 are welcomed
 
  • Save $75.00 on early registration now thru July 31st
 
  • Wood bat League
     

 

      Our Coaching Staff:
 

Richie Benes: Played for the Kansas City Royals organization and is currently the hitting     coach at Monroe College  

 

Josh Kirsch: Modified Baseball Coach at Mamaroneck HS. Josh has worked at Rye             Recreation the last 8 years                                                      


Mike Dwyer:  Junior Varsity Baseball Coach at Lakeland High school. Mike attended the      University of Connecticut where he was an all star catcher     

Jason Kirsch:  Coached Modified baseball at Rye and worked in the Yankee                       organization as an assistant in scouting

We will continue to strive towards the successful development of our program and every individual participating in it. Our program, while placing significant value on education, character development, and athletic excellence, is also highly committed to the physical, intellectual and emotional well-being of every student-athlete who wears the Rye Babe Ruth logo.

Directions to our field in Rye:
 
  • Feeley Field, Disbrow Park
     
  • Take I-95 to Exit 19, Playland Parkway, Rye.
     
  • Continue on Playland Parkway about 7/10 of a mile to first traffic light at Milton Road.
     
  • Make a right onto Milton Road and go about 3/10 of a mile to the first light, Oakland Beach Ave.
     
  • Make a right onto Oakland Beach Ave and go about 2/10 of a mile to two stone gates on the right.
     
  • Make a right into the park, passing between Little League field (on left) and Rec fields (on right).
     
  • Follow the road to end of park in the back.
