Spring Baseball Registration Now Open


 

Rye Grays Spring Baseball Featuring Chad Charney, Brian Gillick

 

Spring Baseball:

 

  • Season starts first weekend in April
  • All games are on weekends and do not interfere with school sports
  • Coaches will focus on developing player skills
  • Team jersey and hat will be provided
  • Metal cleats are acceptable

 


Our goal is to provide a competitive baseball program and valuable instruction with a club team atmosphere.

 

      Our Coaching Staff:
 

Richie Benes: Played for the Kansas City Royals organization and is currently the assistant coach at Monroe College 

Chad Charney: Assistant varsity baseball coach at Rye High School

Elliott Ayala: Played for the Milwaukee Brewers and is an assistant coach at Monroe College

Brian Gillick: Certified Baseball Scout, worked for Rye Recreation for the past 6 years. Brian is a baseball instructor specializing in private lessons.  

Jason Kirsch:  Coached Modified baseball at Rye and worked in the Yankee organization as an assistant in scouting

Directions to our field in Rye:
 
  • Feeley Field, Disbrow Park
     
  • Take I-95 to Exit 19, Playland Parkway, Rye.
     
  • Continue on Playland Parkway about 7/10 of a mile to first traffic light at Milton Road.
     
  • Make a right onto Milton Road and go about 3/10 of a mile to the first light, Oakland Beach Ave.
     
  • Make a right onto Oakland Beach Ave and go about 2/10 of a mile to two stone gates on the right.
     
  • Make a right into the park, passing between Little League field (on left) and Rec fields (on right).
     
  • Follow the road to end of park in the back.
